SPONSOR BENEFITS

Our updated sponsorship benefits listing is attached for your review.  Please review and advise if any of this is out of synch.

  • We took down the number of drink tickets at the various levels.
  • We added an on-site advertising component as a benefit for sponsors to display logos.
    • Can we have your tech group add two larger video screens to the budget with a laptop linked for this display?
    • Does Fifth Avenue have another set of internal screens that we can access as well?
  • We ran into a snag with direct Royal Oak vendor engagement but have a work-around.  Our committee is creating our sponsorship target / follow-up lists now.
  • With your review and approval of the attached sponsorship benefits, Christopher Bower, copied here, will have his team create our sponsorship collateral (a PDF), and Jill will begin setting up our Blackbaud Tapestry software to become the online source for sponsors or ticket-buyers to go online and purchase.
  • Our plan is to launch all announcements, sponsorship brochures, and open our website for sponsorship purchase / ticketing on June 30.
Arts Beats & Eats on 5th

Arts Beats & Eats on 5th event will run from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

For the first hour, sponsors’ guests and $100 ticket holders will attend a VIP reception with civic and business leaders. Holders of $50 tickets enter at 6:30 pm on August 24, 2023.

Attendees at the August 24, 2023, festival preview party, Arts Beats & Eats on 5th, will dine at food trucks and groove to festival musicians while mingling with local civic and business leaders. The event is a fundraiser for the Royal Oak Civic Foundation.

The foundation made a splash last spring, announcing the receipt of $250,000 for trees, plants, and equipment for the Royal Oak Arboretum. Additionally, since its creation, the foundation has directed more than $250,000 to fund community programs and senior transportation, address food insecurity during the pandemic, help kids during the holidays and replace the piano at the senior center.

“People who want to give to the city of Royal Oak can give through the foundation to assure tax deductibility and accountability,” said foundation Chair Tom McGannon. “In our first few years, much of our giving has been with donor-directed funds. Trustees will use the proceeds from this event to give discretionary grants to meet Royal Oak’s greatest needs.”

The party will take place on 5th Street between Washington and Center. All guests will receive beverage tickets and have access to a cash bar. If it rains, festivities will move into the adjacent 5th Avenue bar. Food options and entertainers will be announced later.
