Domestic Nonprofit Corporation – A Formal 501(c)(3)

Royal Oak Civic Foundation works to improve the city’s health, safety, and cultural opportunities by inspiring the philanthropy of residents and business leaders to support a thriving, resilient community.

As a formal 501(c)(3) non-profit, the foundation will facilitate increasing philanthropic giving to enhance our community.

In addition to grants from other foundations, we accept individual and corporate donations and bequests. Giving opportunities include support for Community Benefit Fund, Animal Shelter, Arts Commission, Historical Commission, Nature Society, Public Safety, Public Library, City Parks, and the City’s Senior Center.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS, and it supports civic entities that receive little or no tax-base funding. In addition, it also supports groundbreaking community projects that improve the quality of life in the city of Royal Oak.

Arts Beats & Eats on 5th

Thanks to everyone who attended and participated at the Arts, Beats & Eats on 5th Charity Preview 2023! We are delighted to announce great success as more than 200+ guests were in attendance. Not bad for 60 or so days pulling many elements together. Special thanks to Jill Martin for her assistance with many last-minute details. Extra special thanks to Jon Witz and Shannon Wojtas, our ABE affiliates for their incredible work helping us create this annual tradition.
 
Tonight’s success is a true testament to our combined resources and efforts. Thank you all for making our first public event a great success, and let’s celebrate together this significant step in growing our organization’s public presence and fundraising abilities; all going to the great city of Royal Oak, MI!

Royal Oak Civic Foundation provides a central place for you to donate and, as a 501(c)(3), enables a deduction on their tax return to the extent allowed by the IRS.
