The Royal Oak Civic Foundation was created to centralize donations to civic programs and to address broad community needs. It provides an avenue for donors who can only contribute to a 501(c)(3) or who need to direct their giving there for income tax purposes.

Your donation helps support Royal Oak civic entities, which receive very little or no tax-base funding, and also support groundbreaking community projects that improve the quality of life in our city. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

Below you can contribute to one of eight City of Royal Oak programs or to the foundation’s unrestricted fund. To allocate unrestricted funds, trustees will respond to grant requests from community groups and to the other eight city programs. The Royal Oak Civic Foundation offers three easy ways to support our community:

1) Donate to meet the broad needs in our city by clicking the “Community Benefit Fund” button below. This fund gives Trustees the flexibility to respond to Royal Oaks’ greatest needs:
