Minutes – Royal Oak Civic Foundation Board of Trustees Executive Committee Meeting
November 19, 4 p.m.
City Hall, Room 122, 203 S. Troy Street Royal Oak, MI 48067

1. Chair Tom McGannon called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. Trustees present: Sharlan Douglas, Darien Neubecker. Staff present: Jill Martin.
2. There was no public comment
3. Nominations – Motion to recommend the appointment of Darian Neubecker and Jennifer Banovetz-Bastian to three year terms of the board of trustees. Motion by Douglas, seconded by McGannon; Approved unanimously.
4. Payments:
   • Motion to approve payments as follows:
     • City of Royal Oak Directed Donations: $580 (Shelter $280, Library $300)
     • Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce $220 Membership 24/25
   • Motion by Douglas, seconded by Neubecker; approved unanimously
   • Motion for Shop with a Hero to approve $6,000 in donations, up to $500 in last minute needs and up to $200 for food and beverage. Motion by Neubecker, seconded by Douglas; approved unanimously.
5. Fundraising/stewardship plan – No action
6. Governance committee budget amendment – Motion to authorize up to $200 to recognize outgoing board members. Motion by Neubecker, seconded by Douglas; approved unanimously.
   • Motion to adjourn by Douglas, seconded by McGannon; approved unanimously.
